They initiated the process of this Ayog' formation in 3 states of AP, TN and MH in the first phase.
and will take similar initiation process in the remaining 15 states (so that the Gau-Seva Ayogs are in place in all the states before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections)
The Foundation proposed is an urgent need to bring the diverse streams of GOVIDYA together so that
a gushing and forceful Bhagirathi is the result. But that requires Bhagirath Tapas too. At present Jahnavi is
lost in the Jata of Mahadeva..We should not rush and create any organization that becomes top-heavy and
eventually untenable.The following steps are vital pre-requisites before we create a Foundation:
(1) First create a data-base of the individuals,institutions and trusts active in holistic cow-care; the nature of data
needed (Headings/sub-headings/annual reports/resources/leadership) has to be discussed and debated,.
(2) Once the data-base is ready and analysis available,based on the status a small group will create a document covering: Vision,
Mission,Goals,Organization Structure, Short & long term Objectives, Action Programmes, Resources,Constitution, the Nature of
Registration, Criteria for Membership,and the mode of closure of the Trust.
(3) The aforesaid draft will be circulated for inputs,changes and suggestions fro the key constituent members.
(4) The final Trust Deed will be registered at the location chosen, with the Charity Commissioner in three months.
(5) The first AGM will be convened along with the first Annual Conference and the activities initiated.
(6) The name of the Foundation has not to be some twisted abbreviation but an evocative one.
(7) At the Mumbai meeting we have to initiate the steps mentioned above.

Proposed 'objectives' of the upcoming Federation - 'FIDHCo' (Federation of Institutions for Development of Holistic Cow-Communes) that is yet to be refined...
-- Networking with the community of Individuals, Groups, NGOs, Institutions and State / Central Govt Bodies / Boards working on any Cow-centric activity.
This includes Cow-based Integrated farming activities, Cow-based Holistic Health Service activities, Cow-based Vocational Training activities - mainly for rural youth, Cow-based Sustainable rural development activities, Cow-based Environment Protection activities, Cow-based Biodiversity conservation activities, Cow-based traditional / cultural promotion activities, and ultimately all of these aiming at a Cow-basedSocial transformation.
(A beautiful example for this initiative on mass awareness / social transformation is 'Gau Abhiyan United' - GAU envisioned by Dr Ashok ji Vaidya of Kasturba Health Society. This campaign is based on the 'GAU VIDYA PROGRAM' of Sri Makarand Bhai Dave - a famous Gujarati Poet and a great visionary. And we have started working on this as it is evident from some of my recent mails.)
-- To provide a common platform to assist the Central / State Govt in framing economic policies for the revival of Cow-based rural economy.
-- To establish, maintain and expand close linkages with Prominent leaders and organisations already in the field / working on similar lines.
-- To build an extensive DATABASE and provide an open access to Research updates, Service systems, Govt Schemes, Knowledge Papers, Press releases etc related to Indigenous Cattle breed conservation and Improvement.
-- To plan, support and organize Exhibitions, Trade-fares, Seminars, Workshops, Conferences and Mass awareness campaigns for achieving our prime objective of a Cow-centric SUSTAINABLE SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION.
