Thank you very much for extending your kind support.
Presently we (a team of like-minded organisations & individuals of 'Gau-Gram Mahasangh') have taken up Cow-centric rural development project in Vidarbha and surrounding area in eastern Marathwada and northern Telangana (where the farmers' suicidal rate is highest in the country for the past 2 decades) under the banner 'VIDARBHA ABHIYAN'.
An initial announcement in this regard was made by Dr Ashok Vaidya (Research Director of Kasturba Health Society & President of 'Vidarbha Abhiyan') in Mumbai last month at the end of our 1st National workshop on 'Gavya-Chikitsa for Health' (29-30 July).
Thereafter 3 meetings have been organised during the last 2 weeks in Wardha, Hyderabad and Nagpur as part of our preparatory activities for launching of Abhiyan in 3rd week of Sept 2013. Our next meeting is in Delhi on 4th Aug, where core members from 8 diff states of North India will be discussing on the further course of action.
And as part of our preparation program and the initial networking of Farmers, Vaidyas, Veterinarians, Retired Defence personnel, active NGOs etc, is being clubbed with our upcoming International conference on 'YOGA, AYURVEDA, MOTHER COW & RURAL RECONSTRUCTION' to be organised in the last week of Aug as our regular annual event starting this year.
First announcement of this Conference was made yesterday and the concerned mail is forwarded herewith..

The 2nd Workshop scheduled for 27-28 July in Hyd has been postponed to Sept last week partly because of the undue delay from our side in announcing the venue and partly because of shortage of time for our upcoming Nagpur Conference. (28-31 Aug 2013)
And for your kind information, a 'National seminar on Gavya-chikitsa for Ayurvedic management of Cancer, Diabetes & Rheumatoid Arthritis' is being planned for 26-27 Aug as a pre-conference event. Herewith i am forwarding an initial draft of the brochure and application form of the next month's conference seminar.
With regards to the 2nd Workshop on 'Gavya-Chikitsa for Health', it is being tentatively planned to be held on 28th & 29th of Sept 2013. But we need to get the final approval from the V.C. of Univ of Hyd before officially announcing the dates for the same.
Looking forward for a continued support from each of you in these upcoming events.
